Do I Need Loft Insulation?
There are a few different signs to look for to tell if your house needs upgraded loft insulation.
Measure the thickness of the insulation you already have – current building regulations recommend a depth of at least 270mm in the loft. If you have less than this depth of insulation, we can increase what you have to reduce heat loss through your roof space.
Also, take a look up on frosty or snowy mornings. If your roof is more defrosted than your neighbour’s property, then your heat loss is greater and requires attention.
