Cavity Wall Insulation Survey
Like the loft survey process, once we have arranged a free survey date and time, we will come out and do a physical site survey. It is essential that we do a site survey as this is requested by CIGA who offer the 25-year independent guarantee.

Some of the things we inspect/survey are
The survey is completely free followed by a no obligation quote. Here at Warmcare, we will not offer the hard sell and will be happy if it is just advice you seek. With our surveyors being past installers for 10+ years, you are in safe hands knowing the advice you seek and are giving are from people who know when to and when not to insulate a cavity.
We are members of Which?
Trusted Trader which means we went through a rigorous endorsement process to find out if we are reputable and work to high standards.
We must take all this into account so we can present CIGA with the information from your property. We need to provide CIGA with our findings before they pass any guarantee. They require us to send all photos we attain, sketches, drawings and survey forms.
We will talk you through the process beforehand, advising you what we require, if we need to come in and check anything inside, inform you on the noise we make from our inspection holes and any other information throughout the process. All holes we make we seal up and make watertight before we leave.
We will never rush our surveys. We want to make sure we find out everything possible and get all measurements and drawings correct. We will not expect you to make any decisions during this process, only advise you on the cavity wall insulation process.
Once we have all the information we need, completed our notes and sketches, we will come back to the office and get a formal quote sent out to you usually on the same day, sometimes 2-3 depending on the size of the property.
Cavity Wall surveys normally take around 45-1hr 30 minutes. This could vary depending on a few factors such as:
